Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)

EPCs were introduced by the European Parliament to encourage home owners and tenants to improve the energy efficiency of their properties and reduce their carbon footprint. The EPC is produced by a Domestic Energy Assessor, who visits the property to collect certain information, which is then used to produce the report.

Green Key Sales and Lettings use independent and local Domestic Energy Assessors which means the EPC can be completed very quickly, thus ensuring there is no delay in putting your property on the market.

EPCs are also required for rented properties and have to be provided by landlords re-letting their property. Having our own Energy Assessor also means that any properties let through Green Key can be re-let quickly.
